#Microsoft internet explorer 7 toolbar windows# It must have an attribute “version” with the value set to “1.0”. The structure of the xml is described in the contained DTD. This folder is obtained with a call to SHGetSpecialFolderPath(). This file is named dropBar.xml and resides in the users “My Documents” folder. If (WAIT_OBJECT_0 = WaitForSingleObject(change, 1))Īs mentioned above Drop Bar uses an xml file for storing its configuration. If the timestamps are not equal then the configuration file has changed. If a change was made in this folder compare the configuration files timestamp with the one previously remembered. check if a change was made and reset Drop Bar HRESULT CDropBar::OnDraw(ATL_DRAWINFO& di) SetConfigFileChange(FindFirstChangeNotification(Ĭheck configuration on OnDraw(). A FindFirstChangeNotification handle is set up on the users “My Documents” folder (where the configuration file resides). This is done by listening on a FindFirstChangeNotification handle. If it has so it reloads it and displays the changes accordingly. When Drop Bar needs to draw its buttons (OnDraw()) it first checks if the configuration file has changed. Drop Bar then draws its buttons in the CDropBar::OnDraw() function. If Drop Bar gets attached to the site it creates its main window, registers itself as a drop target and creates a window of class TOOLTIPS_CLASS for displaying the buttons descriptions (tool tips). The main entry point for Drop Bar is the call to IObjectWithSite::SetSite(). Therefore conversions between BSTR and CString can be achieved by simple type casting. String conversion is efficient and easier because Drop Bar uses UNICODE only. You will never get that on one line using CComPtr, CComQIPtr. IXMLDOMElementPtr(xmlDocument->SelectSingleNode('body'))-> The following snippet demonstrates QueryInterface’ing through copy constructor. One major advantage of COM Support Classes is QueryInterface’ing through copy constructors and (of course) no reference counting. Versions of Visual Basic functions like isNull(), isEmpty(), isMissing() are also provided. It removes those scaring underscores from classes like _variant_t and _bstr_t and makes it, let’s say, human readable! It uses the _com_util namespace. Typedef XML::IXMLDOMElementPtr IXMLDOMElementPtr įor dealing with COM Support Classes there exists several helper functions and macros (comstuff.h). Typedef XML::IXMLDOMDocumentPtr IXMLDOMDocumentPtr typedef default interfaces of coclasses to Now typedef most commonly used interfaces into the global namespace. #import 'msxml3.dll' rename_namespace('XML') See the following snippet from reference_msxml3.h. What I do is rename_namespace to a short and meaningful name that is most often the name of the library file itself. It’s almost impossible to have no naming conflicts when using the #import no_namespace attribute and the namespace that is declared in the type library is often long and hard to bear in mind. Using COM Support Classes is, in my opinion, the preferred way of programming COM with MS C++. These files #import the libraries msxml3.dll, msscript.ocx with usage of COM Support Classes. References are included through the files reference_msxml3.h and reference_msscript.h. These libraries must be installed in order to successfully build the project. For comfy handling of structs like RECT, SIZE there exists minimal class wrappers CRect, CSize … (see utility.h, utility.cpp).ĭrop Bar uses MSXML for storing its configuration and Microsoft Script Control for scripting functionality. Shane Triem’s CodeGuru article Add MFC’s CString class to ATL with No MFC Dependencies. These files are auto-generated as explained in K. I decided also keep using familiar classes like CString, CRect, CDC … Therefore a MFC CString replacement (ATL_CString.h ATL_CString.cpp) is included in the project. I decided not to use MFC to keep minimal dependencies. The main toolbar functionality is provided by implementing the IDeskBand and the IObjectWithSite interfaces. It is based upon an ATL “Simple Object” skeleton. Designĭrop Bar is COM class that resides in the library Droppolino.dll. A button’s actions can be programmed in your preferred scripting language such as javascript or vbscript. User defined actions can then be performed with the files being dropped. #Microsoft internet explorer 7 toolbar windows# Drop Bar is a Windows Explorer / Internet Explorer toolbar that allows the drag and drop of files onto its buttons.

KNET WONT LOAD CLASS AMAZON HOW TO KNET WONT LOAD CLASS AMAZON SOFTWARE KNET WONT LOAD CLASS AMAZON HOW TO I used this method when I watched the training videos for how to use a document camera with Google Meet that I wrote about in this article. One of the best uses of these methods is to get through any mandatory video training as fast as possible to be able to take the quizzes and finish more quickly. Thus, you can create 20 minutes of free time for every hour of video you previously watched at normal speed. That’s right, watching an hour video will only take 40 minutes. It is possible to save about 30% of the time watching training videos and better comprehend the material. This results in better retention overall from your online videos. If they do miss something, it is easy to go back to replay any part. Speeding up training videos increases retention because watching the faster video speed requires more focus.įaster material is easier to concentrate on because a viewer feels more like he or she has to pay attention or they might miss something. The one thing that a person’s most limited resource is time. The Advantages of Speeding Up and Skipping Through Videos Luckily, there are technology solutions that are easy to use to speed things up. KNET WONT LOAD CLASS AMAZON SOFTWARE This is something to remember if you’re ever putting together your own videos for your training programs (check out our guide to the best video presentation software for doing this). The video may play all the way through, and they do not learn the content because they were not engaged.Ī video with a droning, monotonous narration can put students to sleep. The viewers are easily distracted and are really just wasting time watching training videos while getting nothing out of it. Many videos are so slow-paced that viewers get bored.
